KPMG has announced that Will Williams will become the next Chair of the firm’s Americas Region. He will succeed Paul Knopp, who has held the position since 2020. During Knopp’s tenure, the region experienced notable revenue growth and increased investments in services, industries, and technologies. These
Williams brings over 25 years of experience at KPMG. Since 2020, he has served as Vice Chair, Operations for the U.S. firm and as a Member of its Management Committee. He has also held the role of Chief Operating Officer for the Americas Region, overseeing functions such as technology, finance, enterprise security, and transformation. Upon assuming the Chair position, Williams will join KPMG’s Global Board. Williams stated, “Through KPMG’s Collective Strategy, we are leveraging the strength of the Americas Region and investing in shared priorities, with an emphasis on AI. I look forward to working closely with our global and Americas member firm leadership on creating the firm of the future.”
