project includes inspections of 85 bridges within the MTS system, including structures from the recently completed Blue Line Extension (Mid-Coast), an 11-mile expansion of the light rail network. These inspections play a crucial role in maintaining MTS’s Bridge Management Program, which oversees 168 light rail transit vehicles and 127 miles of track to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Jacobs previously conducted MTS’s 2023 annual bridge inspections, and this new contract continues the firm’s long-standing collaboration with the agency.
