Infosys and Linux Foundation Networking Partner to Advance Responsible AI for Networks

Infosys has announced a collaboration with Linux Foundation Networking (LFN) to promote Responsible AI principles and accelerate the adoption of domain-specific AI across global networks. As part of the initiative, Infosys contributed its Responsible AI Toolkit and AI application development framework, both part of Infosys Topaz offerings, to two new LFN projects: Salus and Essedum. Salus is designed to enhance AI safety by detecting and mitigating risks such as bias, privacy breaches, and harmful content while increasing model transparency. Essedum, built on Infosys' existing AI solutions, aims to streamline the integration of AI data, models, and applications within the networking sector.

Arpit Joshipura, General Manager, Networking, Edge and IoT at the Linux Foundation commented that “Creating combined, open, and unified frameworks will only accelerate AI-driven innovation. By introducing accessible solutions for Responsible AI and integrating data sharing, domain-specific AI tools, and application development under one roof, we are enabling the industry to build smarter, more efficient networks." Infosys brings its strong AI expertise, shaped by decades of digital transformation experience, to this collaboration. The Linux Foundation continues to play a key role in facilitating open-source innovation across industries, offering tools, training, and community support to scale open technologies. Together, Infosys and LFN are working to ensure AI is integrated safely and effectively into the future of networking.
