This growing trend reflects a broader shift toward innovation, with 62% of respondents planning to increase their AI investments in 2025, and 48% focusing on leveraging open-source ecosystems for optimal AI implementation.

The study highlights that companies are particularly interested in AI's ability to drive productivity gains and operational efficiency, with IT operations being the top area for AI investment (63%). Moreover, 89% of organizations plan to either increase or maintain their AI investment in 2025 aiming for a 25-50% increase in spending. Additionally, AI pilot programs are expected to rise, especially among companies using open-source tools, with 38% planning 21 or more AI pilots in 2025. This shift toward open-source solutions is anticipated to play a key role in helping organizations achieve long-term success and ROI from their AI projects.
