to counter cyber threats. However, 75 percent of organizations that have adopted a platformed security approach agree that better integration across security, hybrid cloud, and AI platforms is essential. The findings suggest that security fragmentation leads to inefficiencies and increased costs, with businesses losing an estimated 5 percent of annual revenue due to security-related challenges.

The research highlights that organizations using platformization experience significantly shorter response times, with security incidents being identified 72 days earlier and contained 84 days faster on average. Executives also report nearly four times higher return on investment from cybersecurity spending when consolidating security tools into unified platforms. With cyber threats becoming more advanced, the study emphasizes the importance of AI integration in security operations. IBM and Palo Alto Networks continue their strategic collaboration to help businesses streamline security management, enhance protection capabilities, and achieve better business outcomes through a platformed approach.
