GDIT Secures $330M in Army Training Contracts

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a subsidiary of General Dynamics, has been awarded two U.S. Army training support services task orders worth $330 million under the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS) contract. These contracts include a $180 million task order to train soldiers across U.S. Army Pacific mission training complexes and a $150 million task order to provide services at XVIII

Airborne Corps training facilities. The agreements feature a mix of base and optional periods, spanning up to five years and six months. GDIT will train over 500,000 soldiers through immersive live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) environments, enhancing readiness through realistic simulation exercises. Additional services will include logistical and technical support to ensure comprehensive mission preparedness.

These task orders expand GDIT’s role as a leading provider of training services to the Department of Defense. Earlier in 2024, the company secured a $160 million task order to support III Armored Corps mission training. This builds on previous successes, such as a $1.7 billion Flight School Training contract and a $383 million Navy Training contract. As a key player in defense and aerospace, General Dynamics generated $42.3 billion in revenue in 2023, supported by its global workforce of over 100,000 employees.
