GDIT Launches New Federal Health Division

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a business unit of General Dynamics, has officially launched a new Federal Health Division. This division will be headed by Kamal Narang, GDIT’s Senior Vice President for Federal Health, and will support over 20 federal health agencies, including the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Military Health System.

The formation of the new division reflects GDIT’s commitment to delivering innovative health solutions and services to federal customers. GDIT has achieved significant growth in the health sector, securing over $4 billion in federal health contracts in recent years, including notable wins such as a $2.5 billion contract to modernize the Indian Health Service’s electronic health record system.

GDIT’s Federal Health Division is the latest addition to its four primary business divisions, which include Defense, Federal Civilian, Federal Health, and Intelligence and Homeland Security. The company’s portfolio offers a range of technology and mission services to U.S. government agencies. General Dynamics, its parent company, is a global aerospace and defense leader that employs over 100,000 people worldwide and reported $42.3 billion in revenue in 2023.
