Booz Allen Backs Scout AI to Boost Defense Technology

Booz Allen Hamilton, through its venture capital arm Booz Allen Ventures, has made a strategic investment in Scout AI to advance autonomous capabilities across U.S. defense operations. Scout AI’s technology features a Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model, FURY, that enables unmanned ground and aerial vehicles to operate with improved autonomy and decision-making.

These systems can interpret and respond to simple voice or text commands, supporting more effective coordination between personnel and robotic platforms in communications-constrained or complex environments. The technology is designed to modernize legacy defense systems and aligns closely with the Department of Defense's objectives for rapid innovation.

Booz Allen’s investment highlights its continued efforts to accelerate the adoption of AI-enabled solutions across military domains, including land, air, maritime, and space.
